Formbricks is open source (AGPL-3.0 (enterprise edition left untouched)). We deploy the official build unmodified and brand it through its own settings — we don’t fork or patch the source. Your instance runs on your server with your data, and if you ever leave you keep the instance plus a runbook to carry on without us. Any AI or automation we add is a separate service that talks to Formbricks through its official API.
