The suite is Apache-2.0, clean for commercial use, but it does not deploy, integrate, or adopt itself.

No. Claude for Legal runs on Claude’s own runtime (Cowork, Claude Code, or the Managed Agents API) — it is independent of Hermes. If you also want an always-on operations and communications assistant, a Hermes AI employee can be deployed alongside it as a complementary layer; Claude-for-Legal is the senior specialist.
You do, directly. Claude seats/licenses are billed by Anthropic and any third-party systems (DMS, CLM, e-discovery, court-data) are your own subscriptions. We implement, integrate, and support — and advise you on the right plan, including AWS Marketplace billing.
